Our Directional Drilling and Geosteering teams have completed a wellbore on a coal bed methane project in Queensland, Australia. Drilled using a downhole motor, the wellbore exceeded 3,000 m in total measured depth, including a lateral of more than 2,170 m. Approximately 98.6% of the lateral remained in coal.
This result reflects close coordination between our teams, the client and rig personnel throughout the operation. Thank you to everyone involved for the care, skill and teamwork that contributed to completing the well safely.
